General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Kirsten Storms Admires Finola Hughes For Her Emotional Cues

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) says she loves working with Finola Hughes for many different reasons, but mostly because her character does a phenomenal job of not just walking the walk or talking the talk, but also for all of the emotion that she puts into each and every one of her scenes. General Hospital Spoilers – Kirsten Storms Admires Finola Hughes For Her Emotional Cues

In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Kirsten admits that she had a rather tricky day at work when Maxie’s wedding to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) turned out to be anything but right as her character had to react to Peter’s exposure as a criminal. Let’s just say it wasn’t easy, as Kirsten knew that each one of her emotions on screen had to pack a forceful punch in order for it to look real.

To make things even more challenging, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was there too and as many fans already know, he just manages to make things worse than what they already are.

Kirsten puts it this way, “For me to play that Maxie instantly believes him wouldn’t make sense because why would she believe that the person she’s in love with is because Valentin says so? But when Anna walks out and says, ‘It’s true,’ Finola Hughes already had tears in her eyes as she was so gorgeously walking down the aisle, and I just started hysterically crying, because she does that to me! That’s when it all hit Maxie.”

General Hospital Updates – Kirsten Knows That She Can Count On Finola

Kirsten went on to say that even though she felt that those scenes were challenging and emotionally exhausting, she felt very good about doing them. It’s a good thing that she has someone like Finola by her side to make things easier, even though they sometimes feel like they would be harder, right? That’s what you call true talent and great chemistry between two amazing soap stars. It’s no wonder fans love them so much!
