Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Stacy Haiduk is having a very hard time keeping things straight these days, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone. After all, she is playing two different characters – Kristen DiMera and Susan Banks. The actress says that it does get confusing at times, even though many DOOL fans would see that she’s doing an incredible job of portraying both characters in the same storyline. Here’s what she has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Stacy says that sometimes she will hear herself thinking about some of her lines as Kristen and other times, as Susan.

In fact, when she’s playing Kristen and in her Kristen costume, there will be times in which she will let her Susan voice slip, and vice versa. That’s when she has to stop herself and say it’s Kristen who she is playing and not Susan!

Stacy puts it this way, “Kristen doesn’t like having to be Susan because she gets frustrated that she can’t use her Kristen power and her sexuality. Susan as Kristen, it’s kind of fun. Anytime I get to play Susan, she’s this breath of fresh air. She’s light, she’s all about love and she’s just this cool, fun-loving person, so if I have to get into something serious, it’s very hard for me to find that in Susan because she just wants everything to be lively and pretty puppies and rainbows.”

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Playing Kristen And Susan At The Same Time

Stacy went on to say that it’s all about knowing what character she’s playing at what time, and what “mode” she needs to be in. Now, as far as what’s in store for both Kristen and Susan remains to be seen, but for now, Stacy says that Kristen is super frustrated because when she’s Susan, she can’t fight back the way she wants to. Of course, fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
