Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that alum Mike Manning is thriving after leaving the role of evil Charlie Dale. His social media has been lit with pics of him enjoying his best life and now comes news of a new gig for the handsome and talented actor.

He recently posted a pic of himself working out and it looks like he is in great shape and ready to tackle all challenges life throws at him.

Mike Manning posted a series of Instagram photos and videos of himself in the gym and it’s clear that he takes staying in shape seriously.

“Back at it, and it feels so good,” he posted. “Oh, gym, how I missed you.”

He also teased his fans with this: “I’m gaining weight for a new movie I can’t wait to tell you about.”

Mike Manning Is Enjoying His Best Life

Manning wasn’t about to spill any more deets about his next project so we’ll have to wait and see what that is.

But he did talk about his fitness routine saying that he was, “using heavier weights to gain mass but eating clean with a lot of protein and veggies, and incorporating body-weight exercises so I don’t lose too much definition.”

“This is a new challenge for me, so wish me luck.”

Charlie Dale was a no-good baddie who terrorized many of the fine Salem residents. Now that he is gone, however, his legacy lives on.

Even in death, it seems like Charlie is torturing the citizens. That’s because he was murdered and it has led to a huge whodunit. As is usually the case on soapy murder investigations, the wrong person was arrested!

But that’s not all, it now looks like a frame-up is taking place. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is off the hook for the killing, but her sister Belle Brady (Martha Madison) isn’t so lucky. She will be confronted as the killer, but in turn, blame Sami for setting her up.

Is this the truth? Actually, there is a third party involved, one that until recently was in a coma! Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is heavily involved in this whodunit although the major players don’t yet know it.

We are headed for an epic May Sweeps DOOL fans!
