Big Sky Spoilers: The Crime Thriller Is Back With An All New Episode On April 13

Big Sky spoilers and updates tease that ABC’s breakout hit crime thriller Big Sky is back on the air with episode 10 of Season 1 on Tuesday, April 13.

Big Sky is a mystery drama series created by David E. Kelley and based on The Highway series of books by C. J. Box. The show debuted on November 17, 2020.

So, what can fans expect when the show returns after a three-month hiatus? Ronald Pergman (Brian Geraghty) is still on the loose and wearing a bad disguise and the audience is introduced to the Kleinsassers. Oh-kay.

In case you missed out on the exciting launch of this series, we have some background for you to chew on until the new episode airs. In the debut episode, Ronald Pergman was introduced. He is a single, long-haul trucker and abducted prostitute Jerrie Kennedy (Jesse James Keitel) whom he met at a truck stop. Later he encounters two young sisters, Danielle (Natalie Alyn Lind) and Grace Sullivan (Jade Pettyjohn), after their car breaks down and kidnaps them, too.

The Show Had Been Gone For Three Months

Suspecting foul play, Danielle’s boyfriend Justin calls his parents who are former cops for assistance. Cody Hoyt (Ryan Phillippe) and Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick) get involved: Cody is now a private detective and he asks his ex-wife Jenny to assist even though she and his business partner Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) hate each other.
He gets in touch with Rick Legarski (John Carroll Lynch) a state cop who tells him that several other young women have disappeared along the same stretch of highway over the past few years.

Long story short, Danielle and Grace try to escape their captor but Ronald overpowers them and locks them and Jerrie in an old shipping container that conveniently just happens to be in a remote location.

When Cody and Rick meet to kickstart the investigation, savvy Cody proposes the possibility that the kidnapper in question is a trucker who could be part of a human trafficking ring. You will never guess what happens next.

The ABC Crime Thriller Returns

After spilling his theory to Rick, Cody starts his truck to go on his merry way and Rick shoots him dead at point-blank range.

Rick calmy busts out his phone and calls perp Ronald to inform him that he has been “sloppy.”
