Royal Family News: Sophie, Countess Of Wessex PROVES To Be Most Stable Royal

British Royal family news reveals that if there’s one person who is not going to make anyone cry over bridesmaids’ dresses, it’s definitely Sophie, Countess of Wessex. As a matter of fact, following Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday night, a lot of royal fans and critics seem to agree that the only member of the royal family that seems to be the least controversial and the most likable these days is Prince Edward’s wife, Sophie Wessex.

As a matter of fact, Sophie didn’t seem to pay as much attention to all of the Harry and Meghan headlines when she decided to rally for women’s rights in her Commonwealth speech this week. Here’s what you need to know.

Sophie, Countess Of Wessex Is Proving To Be The Most Stable Member Of The Royal Family

For Sophie Wessex, it’s business as usual as she spoke with female activists during her pre-recorded segment to help mark Commonwealth Day this year. Sophie, who devotes most of her time to supporting women’s rights, spoke about the debate on women’s rights and how it should be more widened to a “much more level playing field.”

The Countess said, “There can become a bit of fatigue when it comes to talking about women’s rights, women’s issues, and everything. And so I’m quite keen to try and move the discussion into a place where it becomes a much more level playing field because it is a win, win – it’s not one against the other.”

British Royal News: It’s Business As Usual For Sophie

As many fans also know, Sophie – who is regarded as Queen Elizabeth’s favorite daughter-in-law – has long championed women’s rights and sexual equality. In 2019, she committed herself to support the UK’s work helping victims of rape, sexual violence, and exploitation in war.

For a lot of fans, Sophie Wessex is a much-needed breath of fresh air, especially after the way Harry and Meghan seemingly threw the entire royal family under the bus in their tell-all interview with Oprah. Here’s hoping other royals take note of what Sophie is doing and realize that a dignified silence is the best kind of silence. Do you agree?
