Coronation Street Spoilers: Simon Promoted As Jacob Hospitalized, Harvey Lays Down The Law

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Harvey (Will Mellor) arrives to take care of business. He finds out that Jacob Hay (James Jack Ryan) has been stealing from him. Harvey punishes Jacob, who ends up hospitalized. Then the crime boss turns around and promotes Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) to be his right-hand man. However, Simon desperately wants out.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Harvey arrives and his presence is not only seen and heard but felt. He comes to check up on things and handle issues that need to be addressed. This includes him making changes to the teenagers working for him. When Harvey approaches Simon and Jacob, they learn what their fate is.

Jacob Hay Hospitalized

Jacob has been stealing what belongs to Harvey. He brags about it to Simon and thinks he is way too clever to get caught. However, Harvey knows exactly what Jacob has been doing. He unleashes his wrath on Jacob, who is physically punished. He is beaten so badly that he ends up hospitalized. Simon sees all of this godown, so he is terrified at what could happen to him

Coronation Street Updates – Simon Barlow Promoted

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that when Harvey turns toward Simon, he promises that he knew nothing about Jacob’s stealing. Harvey doesn’t seem to have an issue with Simon — at least for the moment. He ends up giving him a promotion and making the teenager his new right-hand man.

Feeling Trapped

However, Simon doesn’t want a promotion. He wants out, which he explains to Harvey. The drug kingpin responds by telling Simon that he still owes him £2,000. He can’t get out until that is all paid off. This ends up making Simon feel trapped and like there is no escape.

After watching Jacob be beaten to the point of requiring hospitalization, Simon confides in Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). He’s scared and doesn’t know how to get out of this situation. But will she be able to do anything to help?

Leanne thinks that they need to go talk to the police and tell them what Harvey is doing. As the two head to the police station, they hear that Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) has been hospitalized after collapsing. Simon sold Kelly, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) drugs earlier that day. This prompts Leanne to change her mind about going to the police. Instead, she has another idea, but it is really risky and it could end with Leanne losing her life.
