The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that in Los Angeles Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has been putting in the work. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) acknowledged his son’s progress and encouragingly, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) did as well.

All that’s happened since the so-called mannequin incident has created change on B&B. Now, with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) being identified as the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) expectant baby, Thomas appears to be advancing toward a position he never thought he’d be in.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Gives Liam Spencer An Ultimatum

An important conversation happened while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam were waiting for the test results. Clifton’s character heard the breakthrough words, Hope said that she was willing to start a new chapter in their life.

However, there was an ultimatum. Hope, like Liam, wanted John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to be the father of Steffy’s child. If that proved true, then Sinn could move on with their planned life together, while Lope could restart and rebuild.

Perceived Reality Changes Everything

Teasers indicate that Liam will believe he’s the father of Steffy’s baby, but he’s really not. Someone will have altered the paternity test, or some type of nefarious action will have produced a false result.

However, the truth that comes out will become one part of this arc. Another aspect will involve who intentionally deceived all four connected characters unless one of them is the guilty test manipulator.

So, Finn is expected to eventually be tagged as the father. But that will come after Hope tries to cope with Liam’s seeming fatherhood status. She’s likely to be in need of a friend and that’s where Thomas stands ready and waiting.

Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Brooke Logan Forrester’s Top Concern

Brooke has softened her stance where Thomas is concerned. Her feelings about him will further develop when she hears that Liam is the father.

Thomas has been open about his feelings of concern for Hope and encouraging her to forgive Liam. Brooke will console her daughter in the aftermath of this reveal and as time passes she seems inclined to endorse Thomas’s expanding role in Hope’s life.

The connection that Atkinson and Noelle’s characters share through Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) continues. With that, the recurring interaction between Thomas and Hope will create a new dynamic that wasn’t possible in the past.

Hope will have the opportunity to see Thomas in a new light through the pain of Liam’s apparent change in his life. That projects as a pathway for her to fall in love with him. Brooke’s eventual endorsement of Thomas becomes possible in that scenario, no matter how unlikely it may have seemed until that point in the plot.
