The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is imminently approaching a defining moment in her life. She will soon learn who the father of her baby is.

While Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is thankfully around to offer support and advice, another key person remains missing. Steffy’s mother, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), hasn’t been seen since 2019. But she either needs to come to Los Angeles, California, in the near future, or Steffy could visit Taylor where she is living.

Liam and Steffy have a connection, as longtime B&B fans know. But they were definitely not on a path back to each other before Liam saw the mannequin and believed it was Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).

A series of well-written events happened and Liam sought Steffy out at the cliff house. The specific atmosphere in that setting was enough to enable Steam to mutually agree to relive the past, with alcohol included as part of that scene.

Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) played off a flirtatious connection, with Taylor agreeing to fund Steffy’s so-called private adoption. The baby Steffy named Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) was later revealed by Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) as being Beth Spencer.

Tylo was written out of the show in 2019 and has only been referenced sparingly ever since. So, it would make sense to write Taylor back in now that Steffy is pregnant and no matter who is identified as the father of her child.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Receiving A Guest Or Taking A Trip?

Wood’s real life pregnancy means that she will be departing the cast within a handful of months on maternity leave. So, Taylor could return to LA to help her daughter in the near future, during what likely would be a brief appearance of this one-time regular character.

Alternatively, the writing staff could have Steffy fly from California to be with her mother. That would enable an extended period where Wood’s character would be off-screen during her real life temporary leave. Wood could film advanced scenes, where Steffy phones in to speak with various characters, as a method of keeping her in the show.

Wood would be seen again this summer, when Steffy is nearing the birth date of her child. So Taylor’s presence, in either instance, would serve a needed purpose while also allowing Wood’s absence to be believably explained.
