The late Brad Carlton (Diamont) was a regular character on Y&R for many years. The roles Diamont and Tom (Victoria Newman) played were both keys to the show back then. In fact, Brad and Victoria were married.

Today, a contingent of B&B fans are hoping that their Los Angeles, California, alter egos will have a reunion in the very near future. Yes, they want Bill and Katie to reunite and remarry.

Another Batie Sequel Isn’t Advisable?

Brooke, Donna, and others have had their doubts. Would Bill be able to practice what he preaches in yet another reconciliation? There’s no way to offer a definitive yes to that question.

The amount of times that Bill has broken Katie’s trust and her heart is more than enough to justify a rejection of his latest request for forgiveness. It can be argued that he’s disrupted Will’s life and will put his stability in jeopardy again.

Yes, Batie’s son is resilient. But Will is moving toward his middle school years when consistent parental influence will be important and needed.

Along with the above, how much is Katie expected to tolerate? She’s impressive and could choose to remain single or pursue someone who is nothing like Bill and doesn’t have his track record.
