Royal Family News: Pregnancy Has Kept Meghan Markle And Princess Eugenie Close?

British royal family news reveals that the UK royal family is growing by leaps and bounds. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter Zara Tindall is expecting a baby, and Princess Eugenie welcomed a baby boy on Feb. 9. Last week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they are expecting their second child.

Now it’s been revealed that Eugenie and Meghan and Harry have been in contact throughout their pregnancies.

An insider told People, “They would have known about each other’s due dates.” On top of that Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, who wed in 2018, are living in Meghan and Harry’s U.K. home, Frogmore Cottage.

The family friend added, “These times tend to bring families together. What is lovely is Eugenie having her baby as Harry and Meghan are having theirs. They are very close. And they are all deciding to go their own route.”

Royal Family News: The Royals Have A Close Bond

The insider noted that a Feb. 14 statement from Buckingham Palace shows that, “the firm decided to have an overarching message,” rather than individual public well wishes from Prince William and Kate Middleton, etc. so in other words, there was no snubbing going on!

In fact, just hours after Meghan and Harry released their public news, the couple received a warm sentiment on behalf of the entire royal family: “Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire family are ‘delighted’ and wish them well,” a palace spokesman said in a statement.

Interestingly enough, this is not the only time that Meghan, Harry, Eugenie, and Jack have had news that overlapped.

A source said that Meghan’s inserting of herself as the center of attention at Eugenie’s wedding, “did not go down particularly well with Eugenie, who, told friends she felt the couple should have waited to share the news,” according to the book Finding Freedom.

The book also claims that despite Meghan, “Eugenie had always been more than just a cousin to Harry. They were also the closest of friends. Out of all the Queen’s grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections. Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest, and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London.”
