Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman) is now showing fans that even with mandatory precaution measures in place the stars are doing their best to adjust to a new normal. And that includes enjoying lunch together—socially distanced of course!

The actress posted a revealing picture of herself at work, outside and she’s not alone; Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) and Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) are with her. But everyone is being responsible by eating lunch spaced apart.

The caption reads: “I posted something earlier about how my babies are growing up and I’m sad and bla bla bla… I deleted. You don’t need to hear that crap from me. SO many in the world are way sadder these days. For good reason. It was a moment, forgive me. So, I decided to post (in its stead) my 6 feet apart work lunch with the beautiful @traceybregman1 and always dapper @christianjleblanc.”

We love the can-do spirit, plus the fact that the three actors have been good friends for years.

These days Stafford’s character Phyllis Newman isn’t exactly having a picnic life like her portrayer. Yes, she is in tight with major hunk Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) but professionally her life has been a roller coaster. She borrowed money from Nick to placate his vindictive sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and is salivating at the prospect of revenge. But at what price? Nick is also protective of his sister and there is no telling whose side he will ultimately choose if things take a turn for the nasty worse.
In the meantime some fans are wishing that Phick would part ways and move on to different pastures. Will this happen or is a rumored wedding in the works? Tell us what you think Y&R fans!
