Royal Family News: The Royal Family Suggest Homeschooling Ideas

British royal family news divulges that COVID has necessitated parents becoming teachers as they school their kids at home but now the royal family is sharing some excellent tips for anyone in that situation.

William and Kate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have talked about homeschooling their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, with Prince Louis still too young to be in classes.

England is now in its third lockdown die to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and children and parents who were relieved to go back to a normal school schedule are back to square one.

One of Prince Charles’ patronages shared some news on social media on Wednesday that will be welcomed by families wanting some fresh ideas.

Royal Family News: Prince William and Kate Middleton Have Done a Tremendous Job of Homeschooling Their Children

It is thought that Prince William and Kate Middleton are once again residing at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall during the third lockdown.

George, seven, and Charlotte, five, attend Thomas’s Battersea school in London which is a short distance from Kensington Palace where the family was most recently, but schools are now closed again in England after the latest lockdown.

The royal family’s Twitter account posted this, “Every Wednesday for the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting cultural institutions which are providing online resources for use by homeschoolers and for anyone interested in finding out more about their work. Today, we begin with the @nationaltrust.”

Royal Family News: Homeschooling Parents Are Given Resources

The post went on, “The Prince of Wales is President of the Trust which preserves places of historic interest or natural beauty for the nation across England. Beatrix Potter and the National Trust have a unique history – she worked closely with the Trust, helping it to acquire land in her beloved Lake District. When she died in 1943, Potter left 4,000 acres of land, including 15 farms, to the care of the National Trust.”

Royal Family News: The Royals Are Now Homeschooling Once Again

It was reported in 2013, after the birth of Prince George, that Kate had chosen a Beatrix Potter themed nursery for him. His nursery was said to be decorated with some of the most well known of her characters including Peter Rabbit, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle and Jemima Puddle-duck.

In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly distantly related to the children’s author. Apparently Kate’s great-great-great uncle Dr. Arthur Lupton was related by marriage to Lord Ashton, Beatrix Potter’s first cousin.
