Days of Our Lives star Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton) knows this school year is like one that we’ve never seen before. The actress recently opened up about her daughter’s new virtual learning journey. Here’s what she has to say.

Sharing a sweet photo of her daughter Aleda, the actress captioned her post with,

“Our big first grader. It’s a weird year.. but she’s handling it like a champ. Happy first day to all the kiddos out there (even if today isn’t your first day). Thank you to all the amazing teachers out there who are doing a truly incredible job trying to make remote learning the best experience possible! Thank you to the teachers risking their health and safety doing in person learning! God speed parents! You’re not alone, we’re all in this thing! You got this!!”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for her fans and followers to comment on her photo. Many said, “She’s growing up so fast. The very best of luck with the new school year Aleda. Stay safe and have fun,” along with, “My grandson is doing virtual learning as well. It might not be the easiest choice right now, but it’s the only choice we have. Here’s hoping that hopefully, the kids can go back to school safely and sooner rather than later. For now, it’s a good feeling knowing that they can remain in the safety of their homes as no one knows what will happen next with this pandemic.”

Another fan wrote, “Linsey, she’s adorable! She looks so happy and proud. My daughter has taken a pic every year of my granddaughter in her new outfit. Bella is a sophomore and she is doing it remotely like Ledy.”
