The Young and the Restless Star Melissa Ordway Takes a Break From Coronavirus Quarantine To Hit The Beach With Her Family

The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway spent the last several months in lockdown with her family because of the coronavirus pandemic but little by little, they are beginning to see the light again. Actually, make that the sunshine. The actress, along with her husband Justin Gaston and their two daughters Olivia and Sophie, all had a family-fun beach day near their home in Southern California this past weekend. And from the looks of it, everyone had lots of fun!

As many fans know, The Young and the Restless along with the other three daytime television dramas have suspended filming until further notice to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Melissa hasn’t wasted any of her time making as many memories as possible with her loved ones at home. Now that the state of California is slowly but surely easing some of the lockdown restrictions, Melissa, Justin and their two daughters took advantage of the warm weather and headed to the beach for the weekend.

The actress shared a few photos from their beach day on her Instagram account, along with one of Justin teaching his daughters how to surf. Quite a few fans commented on the photo with,

“Brave little Sophie, beach days are family fun. This is the one thing that I miss the most,” along with, “What a brave little girl. Beautiful family. Hope you had a great time.”

In the meantime, the producers of The Young and the Restless haven’t made any comments as to when production will start up again, meaning Melissa has plenty more time to go to the beach with her kids!
