The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) is one very proud mother! The actress and celebrity mom recently shared a new photo of her two little “shamrocks” while her family celebrated St. Patrick’s Day over the weekend. Here’s what you need to know.
Melissa and her husband, The Bold and the Beautiful actor Justin Gaston, share two adorable daughters together, Olivia and Sophia. Dressed up in their St. Patrick’s Day shirts, Melissa captioned her photo with,
“My magical, good luck charms! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”
It didn’t take long for Melissa’s social media fans to respond to her Instagram photo. They commented with, “They are so cute! Olivia looks just like you and Sophia looks like her daddy. Your pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Happy St. Patrick’s Day,” along with, “Way way too cute. Loving Angels and great parents.”
In addition to being a mother of two at home and one of the biggest daytime television stars out there, Melissa recently launched her own clothing line, too. She named her family business after the two greatest joys in her life: Sophia and Olivia. Back in August she shared a photo from her collection on her Instagram account and captioned it with,
“WE STARTED A T-SHIRT LINE!!! @shoplivandsoph will be ON SALE THURSDAY!!! @jmichaelgaston and I designed these all ORGANIC cotton shirts and onesies for baby, toddler and mommy! ‘Wear love everywhere you go.’ That’s our family motto and one of my favorite verses Col 3:14 And the best part… 10% of all sales go to @olive.crest – an organization helping children in foster care and helping families adopt!”
Clearly, Melissa has a lot on her plate these days! We love seeing new Instagram photos of her family and of course, watching her on The Young and the Restless every day on the CBS network.
