Drew Barrymore Shares Behind-The-Scenes Moments Of Her Life As A Mom

Her life might look like it’s always glamorous from the outside, but according to Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, that’s not always the case from the inside. The celebrity mom recently shared a photo of herself having quite a moment at home – and it’s one that looks totally different than what we are used to seeing.

Drew, who shares her two children Olive and Frankie with her ex Will Kopelman, has decided to start a new five-part series called ‘The Way It Looks To Us’ on social media. She was inspired to start sharing “real” photos of her day-to-day life after she went to her children’s school in sweatpants. She said that because she didn’t feel like a “proper mom,” she started “beating up” on herself and her self-esteem.

“It’s so typical of what parents do to themselves,” she expressed in an Instagram video. “I started thinking this hashtag #TheWayItLooksToUs and it got me all hopping up with inspiration. I want to present a five-part series of #TheWayItLooksToUs, and I invite you in to present the way it’s supposed to look to you, and the way it really is. I’m going to present the same thing right back.”

Drew has often talked about the importance of balancing motherhood with her “me time” and has even shared tips on her self-care routine. So far it looks like Drew has gotten plenty of support online as many of her social media followers are also sharing photos of themselves in very candid moments.
