Jaime King Vacations in Maui With Family

Jaime King and her Kyle Newman enjoyed a day on the beach with their son James while vacationing in Maui, CA on Sunday (Oct. 23). 

The Hart of Dixie actress was dressed in a long-sleeved plaid patterned one-piece swimsuit while soaking up the sun and waves. She piggy-backed on her husband and played in the sand with the 3-year-old. 

While speaking to E! Online, King opened up about juggling work and motherhood. 

“I actually just picked up my son from school (after I raced from a Revlon event to get him) and now he’s having a swimming lesson. It’s all about the balance,” she told. “For me, it’s balancing the things that really matter to me and, at the same time, making sure I’m with my children as much as possible. Raising my kids on set has been amazing because they know I’m there, but they’re also growing up in an environment where they’re surrounded by a lot of different people from a lot of different backgrounds. What I really appreciate about my childhood, growing up in the Midwest, is that I was exposed to a mix of everything and that’s so important for them to experience.”

King is also parent to 1-year-old Leo Thames. 

She and Newman married in 2007.
