Hilary Duff and Son Luca Cruz Comrie Enjoy Park Playdate

Actress and singer Hilary Duff took her son, Luca Cruz Comrie, to hang out with some friends at a park in Studio City, California on April 20, 2016. They played on the jungle gym, went out the slide, and had a great time with each other.

Duff recently endured some backlash after dropping off her son at school in some super-short shorts. The 28-year-old celebrity mom’s outfit of cut-off denim shorts, a baggy sweater, long duster coat, and sneakers ignited and debate over whether or not her outfit was appropriate for dropping her son off at school.

‘Hey moms! I came up [with] a semi cute outfit for school drop off! I usually roll in sweat pants or lulu lemons and look like a disaster but this morning I managed to throw something cute together and I thought would share,” Hilary wrote. “Cut offs or jeans. A light weight trench over a sweater or tee, cross body bag sneaks or booties and a pair of Sunnies! Now you try! Tag me in your photo…(annnnd you don’t have to wear such a serious face haha).”

However, the length of the shorts didn’t agree with some fans. A debate ensued, but Hilary managed to stay out of it.

Good for her! It’s easy to get roped into arguments and debates, but it’s so important to remember everyone has a right to an opinion. It’s nice to see Hilary Duff having a great time with her son and enjoying those fun moments in life.
