When walking into a baby product retail store, soon-to-be parents often feel overwhelmed with the vast selection of stroller brands out there and the different features that each offer. Prices vary depending on whether the stroller is a travel system, it’s level of quality and the design. It’s so important to do your research on what stroller will work best for you and your future little bundle of joy when the time comes.
The last time I bought a stroller was five years ago, while pregnant with my daughter Ava. Now, I’m pregnant again and feel like a first time mom again because the whole stroller world has changed! That’s why I decided to make a trip to the annual ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, NV this past October. There is no better way to learn about the latest strollers hitting the market than getting a hands on preview of all the latest models in person.
One brand that I wanted to learn more about was Nuna. The Dutch company was launched in 2007 across Europe and quickly gained popularity for their simple, but high quality designed baby gear that grows with your child. The company quickly expanded and now offers parents in North America strollers, carseats, baby seats, playards and highchairs.
Nuna prides itself on making products that grow with your child and this feature is integrated into the design of the Tavo. The true flat sleeper recline makes this stroller perfect for newborns and children can still enjoy a snooze as they grow with the adjustable calf support with integrated footrest. The stroller has a removable infant insert, and arm bar for extra security. The spacious seat also holds up to 50 pound allowing the Tavo to remain your staple stroller from infancy to toddlerhood and beyond.
If I had to think of one word to describe the Tavo it would be convenience. The system easily closes and opens with just one hand. When folded the compact stroller remains closed with the quick-lock fold and can be moved like a trolly. Locking your child in is easy with a three or five point anti-loop harness, featuring a quick click release button. You don’t have to worry about turning or going over bumps either because of the Tavo‘s progressive suspension technology and if you need to stop suddenly you can simple brake the rear wheels with one-touch.
The Tavo is a great outdoor stroller with the integrated sky smart canopy and dream drape. The sky smart canopy consists of two integrated mesh ventilation panels, so your child has lots of ventilation when you’re taking a stroll on a hot summer day. The dream drape, a movable, oversized canopy with flip out eyeshade keeps the sun off your child too.
Visit the Nuna website to learn more about their other strollers and products. Be sure to follow the juvenile brand on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube.
