This giant heart cookie is a perfect treat for any occasion, but especially for Valentine’s Day. My 4-year-old daughter, Ava loves to cook sweet treats with me and she really enjoyed making this one in anticipation of the day focused on love. After making the cookie, she told me she wants make another, so she can give it to her favorite teacher at school as a Valentine’s Day gift.

The recipe is easy to follow and young children won’t have trouble contributing during the baking process. To be honest, the most complicated part of this recipe is finding the Valentine’s Day themed ingredients, which is not all that hard. Just order them on Amazon or go your local chain retailer and you should have no issues.
