Skip Hop: Always a Leap Ahead (Expectant Mom Gift Guide)

I’m currently pregnant with twins and have a four-year-old daughter, so I know better than anyone that mom’s want to know what are the must have products for their baby. From browsing stores to checking out what other mom’s are using, moms-to-be are always on the lookout! While attending ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, I was excited to learn that Skip Hop created a new line of layette outfits for boys and girls. My daughter loved activity gyms when she was a baby. There are so many out there, but I have yet to find one as cool as the new Skip Hop Amazing Arch Activity. This gym seriously puts old activity gyms to shame. While previewing the activity gym at the Skip Hop booth at ABC Kids Expo, I was immediately drawn to its bright and vibrant colors. The gym is bursting with dynamic friends, including a hototing owl, a musical hedgehog, and a dancing fox.  With these friends babies can enjoy developmental activities – activated danceing fox, pull-string peekaboo owl that hoots, handing hedgehog musical teether and more.

The most revolutionary thing about the gym is that you can slip your phone in the parent pocket to record those special milestones or let grandma observe the action form afar. Baby will think he’s looking into a mirror and not your camera, so his movements will be natural. I also love the idea of playing songs to entertain baby. 

One thing you learn as a first time mom, is that mess accumulates in about two seconds when you have children. In order to keep you’re house looking somewhat presentable and to stop yourself from tripping on a toy, you need somewhere to store stuff fast. With the Skip Hop Zoo Large Bin you can go from storing diapers and wipes to storing those pesky toys on the floor quickly. At four year’s old, my daughter loves to use the easy grip handles to help clean up her own toys. The designs are fun and the bin even fits in most cube shelves.
