Hilary Duff: I’m Proud of Co-Parenting With Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff, who filed for divorce from Mike Comrie in January, says she’s “really proud” of how they co-parent their 3-year-old son Luca. 

“We are a unit and we’re going to be a unit for the rest of our lives,” Duff told People. “We realized [as a couple] we weren’t where we used to be. But I feel so lucky this happened when Luca was young because this is his normal now.”

Duff admits she has not given up on love and one day hopes to give Luca a sibling.

“The joy that Luca has brought to my life, and the purpose and meaning — there are no words for it. I definitely want that again.”

Meanwhile, th star is happy to be back to work. She is currently staring in TV Land’s Younger.

“It’s a shift to have your routine shaken up,” but says “you can’t mess up one day with a 3-year-old.

 “When you make big decisions in your life, you feel powerful. I feel happy, I feel good, and I’m excited about all I have going on.”

Duff is also set to release a a new album in the near future. Her single Sparks hit airwaves earlier in the week.
