For a parent holiday shopping usually consists of lots time in the toy section of their local store. Kids wouldn’t be kids if they didn’t have at least one toy on their wish list for Santa! More often than not one of those toys will come from the makers of Hasbro. From classic board games like Monopoly to favorite toys like My Little Pony’s Hasbro has that special toy to put under the tree.
Here are my top three Hasbro toy picks this holiday season:
Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Easy-Bake Oven. In celebration of this milestone, Hasbro has released a special commemorative ultimate oven in a new color. The oven comes with a baking pan, pan tool, a chocolate chip cookie mix and instructions. Children ages 8 and up can whip up cookie bites, cupcakes, whoopie pies and more by simply mixing and easy baking. The Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven is perfect for keeping girls entertained and is a great sleepover activity.

Let’s Imagine Elmo
Now young children can partake in more adventures with their favorite monster. Elmo has four fun hats he can wear that allow him to imagine himself in new roles – a cowboy, prince and sea captain. Children can unlock different play mode by placing a hat on his head. When your little one puts the prince hat on Elmo, he pretends to be Prince Elmo and plays a game of “Prince Elmo Says”. With the cowboy hat, Elmo counts up to 20 and sings a song when reaching 20. The sea captain’s hat lets Elmo imagine he’s an ocean-going captain, and he’ll start up a sounds-of-sea identification game.
Let’s Imagine Elmo is a great toy for children between the ages of two to four. Toddlers can learn how to follow simple instructions Elmo gives like pinching his nose while older children can extend their learning of numbers by counting past 10 with him.

Play-Doh fun has never been so sweet!
Let your child’s imagination and creativity soar with this Cake Mountain playset from Play-Doh. Make tiered and layered pretend cakes, and crazy cake pops before customizing them with with the special Play-Doh Plus frosting.
I love that Play-doh is a fun activity for children of all ages! Older children can bond with their younger siblings while creating different cakes with one another. Likewise, adults can join in the fun while their youngster practice fine-motor skills with the dough.
This playset can be purchased at Amazon for $14.94.
