Ellen Pompeo & Family Stroll in NYC

Ellen Pompeo, her husband Chris Ivery and their daughter Stella were seen out enjoying a day in New York City on Wednesday (No. 12).  

The Grey’s Anatomy star wore a dark beige knit sweater and jeans while talking to her husband. He carried Stella who was dressed up in animal print jacket and a gold dress. 

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month, Pompeo spoke about their family dog being attacked by a coyote.

“A coyote jumped my wall at my house. My property is completely gated and walled — six-foot wall around the whole property,” she explained. “My husband made a good point: There [were] cars parked in front of my house, so there’s a good chance the coyote jumped on top of a car roof and then over [after it] heard the dogs or smelled the dogs or something,” she told, adding, “My husband said she was screaming bloody murder. My husband said, ‘I thought somebody was being butchered to death’ … She was screaming at the top of her lungs, and the coyote dropped the dog and jumped back over the the wall.”

Her dog survived, but walked away with six puncture wounds and needed hospitalization. Pompeo said she is recovery well.
