Watch the New National Geographic Kids Channel With Roku #Giveaway

As a National Geographic Kids Insider, I recently had the opportunity to preview the newly launched National Geographic Kids channelon Roku. The channel gives young fans of National Geographic Kids a new exciting way to explore subjects that spark their interest in the world. Kids go on an adventure with fun-filled shows packed with amazing animals, original music videos, and National Geographic‘s stunning cinematography. These programs are designed especially for kids from 4 to 10, but younger and older children will also enjoy the fun.
This was my first time trying out Roku and I found their new streaming stick (HDMI® version) to be an ingenious piece of technology. The stick which resembles a USB stick plugs discreetly into the HDMI port for a streamlined look. You can stream from more than 1,500 channels of movies, TV episodes, music, news, sports, kids’ shows and free programming in HD quality.
The streaming stick comes with a sleek remote that allow viewer access the Roku user interface with shortcuts to movies, TV shows, news, the Roku Channel Store, Roku Search and more. I really enjoyed that the remote transmitted well to the streaming stick. I have a Blu-Ray player that also acts as a streaming device and the remote transmits horribly. I will definitely use the Roku Streaming Stick to do our streaming from now on.
