My two-year-old daughter, Ava, loves FurReal Friends. She first noticed these cute animal friends which actually look and sound like real animals when we were browsing the aisles of our local ToysRUs. We have three cats at home and Ava has a general love of all animals, so she naturally got excited when the FurReal Friends started making sounds as she walked by. FurReal Friends come in all shapes and sizes – cats, dogs, monkeys, hamsters you name it!

Pictured above is Trixie the Skateboarding Pup. When you put her on her skateboard, the remote control is yours to make it go forward and turn! Pose her standing up, sitting or on her belly, and she’ll do more than 30 tricks! When you’re ready for something even cooler, put her into a headstand or make her do a wheelie.  Children can also dress her up and decorate her skateboard.

This pup is under our tree and Ava will not be the only one in our home happy about that. Daddy is excited because he doesn’t want a real puppy yet and our three cats will be more than happy to be getting a break from getting ‘Ava hugs’  for awhile.

Furby Boom

The Furby Boom is probably the most sought out toy this holiday season. I have been in a couple of stores in the last week and have seen moms looking for the Furby Boom.
