Kelly Clarkson Says Now That She’s Pregnant People Have A Reason To Call Her Fat

Kelly Clarkson announced this week that she is pregnant with her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock.  Kelly tweeted to let everyone know, “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :).”  Kelly and Brandon got married  in Nashville, Tenn. last month after dating for a few years.

Over the years Kelly has been criticized by the tabloids and many people about her weight.  But now that she’s pregnant she says people finally have a reason to say she is fat.  She sat down with Parade and told them, “Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can’t wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk!”

She also talked about how all the pressure that people face when they give birth and losing weight after won’t both her.  She said, “I’ve never been Gisele Bündchen, so ain’t nobody expectin’ that! I like to set a [low] standard so people don’t expect a lot.”

Meanwhile Kelly is promoting her new Christmas album, Wrapped in Red.  The album includes classic songs we know and love and some originals co-written by her.
