Alec Baldwin & Wife Hilaria Debut Newborn Daughter Carmen Gabriela

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria debut their newborn daughter, Carmen Gabriela Baldwin, in the latest issue of People Magazine.

Posing in a family portrait, the 30 Rock actor admits the Aug. 23 arrival of the newborn has given him another shot at fatherhood.

“It’s a second chance for me, in a way,” Baldwin tells. “Everybody knows I had a pretty unpleasant custody battle for Ireland.”

Now that his first daughter is,  “well-adjusted and as happy as one can be,” the new dad tells his past problems are behind him.

“We just want things to be easy, to be nice,” he explains.

Hilaria is enjoying being a first-time mom.

“I knew I was going to love her a lot, but it’s incredible how deeply,” she tells.

At the moment, they are trying to adjust to the lack of sleep.

“She sleeps like a rock all day. And at night she’s like, ‘Let’s have a conference,’” says the actor, with Hilaria adding, “Now I’m getting to the point where if I don’t sleep, I’m going to start walking into walls.”
