Salma Hayek: Family Comes Before My Career

Salma Hayek‘s career comes second when it comes to her family life.

The Frida actress admits she has turned down many roles throughout her successful acting career to be with her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their 5-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma.

“I’ve said no to many things and I don’t regret it,” says Salma.

With support from her husband and by only taking on work commitments when her daughter is out of school, the actress is able to balance her family life and career.

“If you notice, I only work in the summers,” she said. “I’m very lucky because my daughter and my husband support me a lot in my work. So, thanks to that, I can do many things.” 

Meanwhile, Salma’s new movie Grown Ups 2 in which she stars Adam Sandler hits theatres this Friday.
