Padma Lakshmi & Krishna: Sunday Shoppers

Padma Lakshmi and her daughter Krishna spend a day shopping in the West Village of New York City on Sunday (May 5).

The Top Chef host wore a blue maxi dress with a thigh-high side slit with a motorcycle jacket as she held her daughter’s hand. The two-year-old looked just as stylish as her mom in a long striped dress with a white denim jacket and red leggings.

Padma who is set to start filming season 11 of Top Chef later this month recently admitted it’s hard to maintain her weight during the competition.

“I gain 10 or 15 pounds every season, and what it takes me six weeks to gain, it takes me 12 weeks to lose,” she told. ‘That’s one of the hardest and, you know, main drawbacks from my job is that my weight yo-yos.”
