Melissa Joan Hart: “I Would Love To Have More Kids”

Melissa Joan Hart who is mom to three boys – Mason, 7, Braydon, 5, and Tucker, eight months wants more children, but admits she wants to wait till she can ensure she has enough time.

“I would love to have more kids,” the Melissa and Joey actress. “I want to have them close together. Every time I have a child, it puts me out of work for a year or two, and every time I have a child, it’s more work. I want to make sure I can give each of them good attention.”

She adds, “I would love to have four, but I can’t promise anything now.”

She insists that she has no problem having all boys and having a girl actually scares her.

“Girls scare me,” says Melissa.“I think I’m a good ‘boy’ mom. I’ve never been a fan of pink—I don’t think l’ve ever worn pink. There would be glitter everywhere. Trying to do my hair this morning took me an hour, and all I got was a ponytail. It would scare me having a girl.”

Right now, she manages the chaos of three growing boys with help of her husband Mark Wilkerson and a nanny.

“Luckily we have a nanny, and I have a wonderful, fantastic, hands-on husband,” she says. “He does everything from bath time to breakfast to everything in between.”

She continues, “My husband is my rock.”

The new season of Melissa’s hit ABC Family show Melissa and Joey airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
