Evan Rachel Wood: Pregnancy Is Not Easy, But Amazing!

Evan Rachel Wood showed off her growing bump at the A Case of You screening at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday (Apr. 21).

The actress who happily cupped her bump for photographers opened up about her pregnancy for the first time.

“It’s been amazing,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s not easy, but it’s incredible.”

“I keep explaining it like it’s going from standard to wide screen,” she told. “You view the world totally differently and you’re much more aware of people and things. Your senses just kind of go crazy — it’s a lot.”

Calling her pregnancy a ‘rollercoaster’, the mom-to-be admits that it took some time to adjust to her new condition.

“You know, I’ve been very tired but otherwise fine,” Wood said. “Pickled onions, though. I was craving those.”

One of the biggest changes she’s undergone, in fact, has been a change in wardrobe.

“Pants are just out the window,” she said with a laugh. “I got all these maternity pants and I was just like, ‘No.’ So it’s dresses, which are kind of different for me. Pants are gone.”

Wood and her husband, Jamie Bell, confirmed they were expecting in January.
