Mindy McCready Dead At 37, From Suicide

Sad news Country Star Mindy McCready is dead from an apparent suicide.  Mindy has had a troubled past couple of years, she has struggled with addiction and mental illness.

Mindty, 37 was found dead at her home in Arkansas from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.  According to a statement released, “Deputies from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of gunshots fired Sunday afternoon and found McCready’s body on the front porch.”

Mindy’s two children were removed from her home by a judge on February 6, 2013 and she was committed to a to a treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation. She was released two days later.  David Wilson, her boyfriend was mysteriously gunned down outside the couples’ home and it’s a situation that has raised more than a few eyebrows. Mindy insisted at the time that she didn’t pull the trigger but had a hard time believing that he committed suicide.

So sad. Let’s hope that her children are able to get through this terrible tragedy. RIP Mindy 1975-2013
