In a new interview with Parade, Keri Russell opens up how becoming a mother to her two children River and Wila has changed her as aperson.
“You instantly become less selfish. You can’t be the biggest person in the world anymore—they are. It really grounds you,” The Americans actress tells.
Russell who has taken several breaks from acting over the years insists that her personal life is just important to her as her career.
“I like working hard, but my life outside of my career is equally important to me. Maybe I’m not ambitious enough, but I’m just as interested in my friends and my relationship with my family.”
So, how does she spend her free time?
“With my girlfriends, adult beverages, and delicious food! ” she adds.
