Great news today for DC Cupcakes star Katherine Kallinis and her husband Ben Berman, they couple welcomed a baby girl. This is the first child for Katherine and her lawyer husband, Ben. Their daughter was born at the Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., weighing in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces, measuring in at 19 inches long.
Katherine told Life & Style exclusively, “Ben and I are over the moon and so excited to welcome our little angel Isis into the world!”
Katherine who grew up in Toronto is co-owner of Georgetown Cupcakes with her sister Sophie LaMontagne. The two opened the shop in February 2008. The shop sells an average of 10,000 cupcakes daily, red velvet the top-seller. During winter and spring of 2010, TLC filmed a reality series at Georgetown Cupcake, shadowing the sisters, telling their story, and aspects of running a small business.
