Kim Kardashian Wants To Rush Kris Humphries Divorce Before Baby Is Born

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been arguing over the demise of their marriage much, much longer than they were enjoying wedded bliss. And now that Kim’s pregnant with Kanye West‘s baby, she’s more desperate than ever to end the union. It’s not that she’s ready to walk down the aisle with Kanye – or waddle depending on how far along she is – but she doesn’t want to give birth to her Kanye baby while still married to Humphries.

Sources close to the Kardashians told TMZ that Kim thinks Kris is being “spiteful and vindictive” by deliberately dragging his feet on their divorce. It’s been nearly a year and a half since they split, compared to the less than three months they were married. Sources close to the court case say there’s been no evidence presented that can substantiate that Kim intentionally defrauded Kris by marrying him.

Kris’s friends and family want him to settle with Kim and get it over with, but they’ve both got so much money invested in legal fees, neither wants to give in now. If Kris doesn’t throw in the towel, which I can’t imagine he will, next month the judge considering their case will set a date for the trial. Added to the three months pregnant that Kim is now, that puts her at four and a half months when the date is set and no telling how far out from there the hearing date will be.

With just six more months (or less) until the Kimye spawn hatches, that doesn’t give Kim a lot of time to unload her husband – through annulment or divorce – before she is ready to pop. Kim’s lawyer Laura Wasser estimates just one day for the trial while Kris’s rep is hoping for five days of televised arguments to plead the fraud case to score an annulment.

But here’s the catch – even though the date for the trial will be set in February – there’s a good chance the trial date will be set for June or later because of Humphries’ busy basketball schedule. That could mean that Kim may waddle into divorce court either ready to pop or with a newborn in her arms.

I still think that she should give him an annulment and have done. If she’s worried about the money, maybe he would pay her legal fees if she would agree to annul rather than divorce – that seems like a reasonable compromise. Maybe I should give Wasser’s office a call and offer my expert advice!
