Jennie, the designer of Luna Leggings created the brand after realizing the market for girls leggings was limited when her daughter, Sienna constantly wanted to wear tights.
“I tried to find Sienna a variety of fun and functional tights to keep up with her active and ‘fashionable’ lifestyle; that’s when I realized the market for girl’s tights was quite limited,” Jennie tells.
When designing the leggings, the mom was inspired by her daughter’s love of bright and unique color combinations in her drawings. She also drew on their mutual respect for the natural world around them – beautiful flowers, trees, and edible gardens.
The high quality cotton leggings are certified by all International Organic Certification standards and are made by a small family run knitting company in Northern Indian. The brand also donates 10% of its profits to the Edible Schoolyard Project to promote the education and practice of enjoying real food.
