Neve Campbell Explains Why She Named Her Son Caspain

Neve Campbell who chose to keep mum about the birth of her son, Caspian, has decided to open up about her little bundle of joy.

Appearing on The Talk Dec. 25, the Scream 4 actress revealed how she and boyfriend JJ Feild chose their baby boy’s name.

“I like having a unique name — it’s [my mom’s] maiden name, Neve — and not a lot of people have it,” the Scream 4 star explained. “It’s nice having something special and different and so I wanted something like that for our son.”

Campbell added that she and Feild “had a list of about five” names to choose from.

“We decided that we’d wait and see and meet him and then decide,” she recalled. “And when we were in the hospital when he was born, we realized we could only remember one and that was Caspian, so it seemed like it was right.”

Her rep confirmed the pregnancy in March 2012, but didn’t confirm the birth.
