Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery took their daughter Stella shopping at Toys R’ Us in Glendale, Ca on Saturday (Nov. 24). The family were picking up a present before heading over to a birthday party for Stella’s friend.
The Grey’s Anatomy star recently revealed she was the driving force in the storyline behind her character, Dr Meredith Grey’s decision to adopt a mixed race baby.
“We really have to tell this story right. We have to be strong, we have to show hope,” she told. “We have to offer something to people who are relating to this. There’s got to be a strength brought to the issue.”
The hit show is currently in its ninth season.
