I love clothes, so naturally I love dressing my daughter Ava. Occasionally, I splurge on clothing brands, but most of the time I try to find discounts because as every mother knows clothes only fit a baby so long and get stained often.
I was introduced to Ebates where saving is an everyday thing. With Ebates I can buy from big department stores like Blooomingdales, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue or shop directly at brand name stores like the Gap. With every purchase you receive a percentage of your cash back. The cash back can also be combined with any existing sale or promo code the actual store is offering.
Last week, I decided to try it out. First, you must sign up for a username and password at Ebates or join with a Facebook account in order for them to have somewhere to put the cash back. Then search all the stores Ebates is associated with along with the percentage of cash back offered after purchase. When you decide which retailer you want to purchase you must click on a red ‘shop now’ button that redirects your browser to the retailer.
I chose to buy clothes through Baby Gap. After clicking the button, shopping at the online store was the same as always. I checked out and received a confirmation for my purchase from the Gap. After two days, I received a confirmation from Ebates that I had made a purchase with the amount of money I earned back. The cash will then be put into my Ebates account.
Could it get any better? Yes, because you even get cash bonuses for every person you refer that makes a purchase!
