Miranda Kerr Shops With Son Amid Epidural Comment Uproar

Miranda Kerr took her son Flynn Bloom shopping at Baby Gap after running errands all day in NYC yesterday. Maybe the mom is doing some retail therapy because she’s under hot water for making comments about the negative impact of epidurals. She told Harper’s Bazaar UK, “I had made a decision that I wanted to do it [naturally]. I had been watching all these baby bonding videos and [without an epidural], when the baby comes out it goes straight onto the breast. [After epidurals] the baby was a little bit drugged up and I was like, ‘Well, I don’t want that’. I wanted to give him the best possible start in life I could.”

Many people had something to say but parenting blog, Cafe Stir, responded, “I don’t care if you had an epidural, if you had it naturally, a water birth, at home or in the hospital. Women just need to respect each other.”
