The 2012 84th Academy Awards are finally here and the event is taking place at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.  We will have all the red carpet arrival pictures of the yummy mummys  for you as the red carpet overflows with the tops names in show business!  The awards are the most highly-anticipated event of the awards show season. Tonight’s show will feature Billy Crystal as host and Cirque du Soleil performing at the Hollywood & Highland complex.

This year’s Academy Award nominations contain few surprises apart from a couple of people left of this list. Unexpectedly there was no nomination for Michael Fassbender in ‘Shame’ nor for the standout 2011 comedy ‘Bridesmaids.’ Nominations of best Supporting Actress for Melissa McCarthy and another for Original Screenplay did not materialize.  To see the full list go here!
