Reese Witherspoon: “Nothing’s More Important for Me Than Family”

In the March 2012 issue of Glamour UK magazine, Reese Witherspoon opens up about motherhood and how she and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe put their kids first.

Witherspoon insists that her family is the most important thing in her life and she loves being a mother.

“Nothing’s more important for me than family. I definitely love having a career, but I just love being a mom – it’s how I was raised.”

Witherspoon is also proud of the way she and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe have maintained a good relationship for the sake of their kids Ava and Deacon.

“My ex-husband and I co-parent really well. We really balance each other’s schedules and just communicate a lot,” Witherspoon told.

Witherspoon admits he is surprised that her children are so different to herself.

“Now that they’re school age their personalities are emerging and it’s always sort of a revelation that they are nothing like you.”
