Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky Expecting Baby

More baby news from Hollywood! This time it’s congratulations to actor Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky. They’ve announced they’re expecting their first child this Spring.

The pair have told Hola! magazine about their excitement, cravings and plans once their little bundle of joy is born.

Elsa is a Spanish actress and she has some definite ideas on how their kid will be raised.’I’m only going to speak to the baby in Spanish. I already told my husband, ‘Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you’re not going to be able to understand what we say.’ Chris is from Australia so the baby will be well traveled!

So is Elsa having any weird cravings? You betcha! ‘Everything healthy I used to like, I now don’t like. All of a sudden, the only things that sound good to me are all the sweets in the world, hamburgers, and french fries. I have never eaten popcorn, and with the pregnancy I eat it all the time.’

The two – who tied the knot in 2010 – are very much in love and can’t wait to become a family of three ‘The balance in this first year as a married couple is wonderful, it’s been a constant honeymoon. I feel so fortunate to have found the person that completes me.’

The couple don’t know the sex of their baby and they want to keep it a surprise. So there’s no decorating the nursery just yet  ‘Since it’s our first child we don’t care if it’s a boy or girl, our only wish is that it’s healthy‘.
