Connie Britton Adopts a Baby Boy

Friday Night Lights star, Connie Britton has adopted a baby! The baby boy who is name Eyob was born 9-months-ago in Ethiopia.

Britton had been trying to adopt for around three years, and her dream of motherhood came true about a week ago, after she returned from the African country.

“I am thanking my lucky stars every day,” Britton told People magazine.

“It was such a wonderful moment of completion,” she says of the day she first held her son in her arms. “I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear.
