Gwen Stefani On Motherhood: The Most Challenging Thing I Do

In the November issue of InStyle, Gwen Stefani opens up about fashion, her toughest task in life and the secret behind balancing work with family life.

Stefani admits she tries to spend as much time with her sons Kingston and Zuma while they are young because she realizes they won’t always want to cuddle.  

“The thing I’d like to do is enjoy these boys while they’re young—so I don’t regret I was working too much when they’re big and don’t want to cuddle with me anymore.”

Although, she admits being a mother is not easy.

“Being a mother is probably the most challenging thing I do.”

Stefani says she has learned the secret  to balancing her many works efforts with family life.

“At work I’ve learned how to delegate. You don’t have to be on a ladder in a warehouse, micromanaging. You can be at home. And teamwork is also such a big part of marriage and parenting.”
