Beyonce announced she expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z at the MTV Video Music Awards. She made it clear she was pregnant on the red carpet in a form fitting orange gown. She wrapped her hands around the bump and and told the waiting press, “I have a surprise!”.
In June, Beyonce announced that she would have children one day, but was not rushing to become pregnant. She also said it would be God who decided when she would have children:
“That’s something that God has to decide. When it happens, it happens. I’m just so happy to be in this place in my life.”.
