Natalie Portman Names Her Son AlefNatalie Portman Names Her Son AlefNatalie Portman has named her baby boy ‘Alef’, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Rumors of the name Alef  leaked close to the birth, but many assumed it was a mistake and that the boy was in fact due to be named Alex.

Portman gave birth last month, but chose to keep the name secret. She has not been seen in public since. She is currently engaged to Benjamin Millepied, the father of Alef. The two met on the set of Black Swan.
