Katie Holmes: ‘I Have To Be A Good Parent’

She’s a wife, actress, fashion icon, and more, but actress Katie Holmes still considers being a mother her most prestigious title.

“I have to be a good parent in my own heart first. I’m not going to choose making people happy over doing the right thing for my child,” she said. “My biggest thing is making sure she’s fully taken care of and doing well.”

Holmes has received a lot of scrutiny from the media about how Suri dresses, among other things.

“I do know what’s being said. I am briefed,” she admitted.

But the constant media attention might be helpful for what Katie has in mind for her daughter’s future.

“I think she’s going to do a lot of different things. She’s an amazing athlete, singer, and dancer, and I think she’ll probably be an actress,” she said.
