Demi Lovato, 18, who stars in the Disney Show ‘Sonny With A Chance’ has decided to leave the show. Demi has said she does not think it would be healthy for her to continue with the show. Demi recently completed a three month stint in rehab for “emotional and physical issues.”
Disney is completely supporting Demi and released the following statement. “We respect Demi’s decision to focus fulltime on her music and not immediately return to her acting career”.
The show will now be reinvented as a comedy sketch program called ‘So Random!’ which is scheduled to premiere in June 2011. Demi will now focus on her music career.
